What's New with My Site?
Time spent, is time well
spent......
It doesn't matter the size of the fish , It just that you spent the time to make it
happen.
Everyday we hear stories about a teen that has been shot, or that they
have joined a gang, or a child picked up a gun out of their fathers
closet and shot their other sibling, or some child that was mad at
another child shot anything and anyone in the school . Well did you
ever think that if we spent more time with or children to do those
little things that don't seem to matter , with our children that they
may be more responsible with the choices they make. Everyday a
child envisions going to the park with their father and throwing that
baseball with them and everyday a child wants to spend that little
quality time with their family and when they get to the teen years if
you haven't already done that with them they look for other things to
envision on. And those envisions could be the ones that adults spend
their work time talking about what they heard on the news about
some child that went and shot someone for no reason at all. That is
the point ...their was a reason, those little quality times that us as
parents could have spent as time teaching our children how to throw
that ball , or how to tie a hook on a fishing pole , or how to land that
really big one. You see it isn't the talks that do the good , it is the
actual getting out and spending that time with them and showing
them that there are things in life to enjoy. If they see this before they
become teenagers they will store this in their minds as the special
times and it will make a difference. If they ask you to spend time
with them or you see that your work has made you neglect the things
that matter, or your most famous words to your child are I don't
have time then you might be reading their ad in the next newspaper,
or hearing it on the news . Because they need you to show them that
life can be fun and it can be rewarding. If they don't see it from you
, then they don't know anything else but those envisions they have of
their own and they might not be good ones. Spend special quality
time with your children and see it make a difference in their future.
